November 21-the Day of remembrance of the Archangel Michael
This autumn a joyful day was celebrated the patronal feast day in St. Michael's Church in the village of dawn.
"Rejoice, Archistratege of God Michael and all nebesnyy forces"-these words of prayer were called the clergy, the parishioners and pilgrims of St. Michael's Church in the akathist to the patron Saint of our village. The celebration day was celebrated the rite of blessing the water, the festive divine Liturgy with the participation of the Cathedral clergy. The celebration concluded with a procession around the temple. Bells, echoing each other, restless and solemnly conveyed the mood of celebration and joy every Orthodox soul.
I want to share with you another joy-November 21, 2010 our parish celebrated the great jubilee of the 20th anniversary of the consecration of the temple. In anticipation of the holiday from Greece (Rhodes) came to us a great relic-a copy of the miraculous icon of the Archangel Michael. The day of the feast, before the divine Liturgy took place the consecration of the throne. Gold plated Riza to the throne was donated by benefactors of the Church-family Melnychuk. Also for the anniversary has issued a brochure "Like a piece of heaven ...", which tells about the history and the present of our Church. A wonderful script written by a member of our Church, awakened the deepest corners of human soul. Spectators, with bated breath, listened to hymns and prayers performed by the four choirs of our Church. Congratulated everyone on the anniversary of the ensemble teachers zoryans'ke music school. A real gift for the audience was the choir of sisters from St. Nicholas convent of Gorodok.
